Description of Position:
The Ninth Circuit holds its annual judicial conference pursuant to 28 USC § 333 to consider the business of the Court. Most of the District and Circuit Judges attend. The conference also includes Lawyer Representatives.
The various bar associations in the Central District are looking for 12 applicants that must be filled for 2014. The privilege of serving as a Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference Lawyer Representative is a unique opportunity for lawyers who enjoy rolling up their sleeves and actively participating in panels and committees with the judiciary and other practicing attorneys. Being a lawyer representative means you will work with members of the Federal Judiciary as well as other Lawyer Representatives from the Central District and other Districts in the Ninth Circuit. All are working toward the same goal - the improvement of our Courts and judicial system.
