What
is the RCBA Dispute Resolution Service?
The
RCBA Dispute Resolution Service (DRS) is sponsored by the Riverside
County Bar Association in conjunction with its members.
Our
mediators/arbitrators are experienced attorneys -- they have practiced
for ten years or more -- and they have met the requirements set by the
DRS Board of Directors.
The
DRS coordinates the assignment of a panel member for efficient and low
cost dispute resolution. The RCBA provides meeting rooms for the private
and confidential use by the participants.
Advantages
of using RCBA Dispute Resolution Service
Low
Rates
The
services are provided to the participants for a low rate. The fee is
$200 per hour regardless of the number of parties or complexity of the
case. Persons who qualify for waiver of the court fees may have their
share of the RCBA Dispute Resolution Service fee waived. Visa and Mastercard
may be used.
Experience
Mediators
and arbitrators are experienced and specifically trained to provide
the services you need to resolve your case.
Expert
Referrals
The
screening process for panel members identifies the area of emphasis
or specialization. All referrals are made to attorneys or retired judges
who are familiar with the nature of your dispute and the best way of
resolving it.
Quick
Service
Sessions
may be scheduled within days or weeks of a request. The session may
even be scheduled for evenings or weekends. Most disputes are resolved
in one session.
Confidentiality
All
matters are kept confidential unless the parties agree otherwise.
